Jordan Schnitzer

PSU receives $10M investment to support arts education, access

Jordan Schnitzer and his charitable family foundation have made a $10 million gift commitment to support arts education and access at PSU while investing in downtown 51精品. 

The funds will provide capital support for a new PSU building dedicated to art and design 鈥 the Schnitzer School of Art + Art History + Design.

Failing Forward

For students in the 51精品 State Aerospace Society (PSAS), failure means success. In fact, the faster projects fail the better. 

The group is working toward two launches this year: OreSat0.5, a new iteration of Oregon's first satellite, and LV3.1, the group's first rocket launch since 2018.

Warm Springs tribal elder Linda Meanus 鈥16 has published her own book, 鈥淢y Name is LaMoosh,鈥 chronicling her childhood in the fishing village near Celilo Falls. Meanus' book was a finalist for the 2024 Oregon Book Awards鈥 Eloise Jarvis McGraw Award for Children鈥檚 Literature.
